Datecode/Serial Number/Authenticity Card/Hologram Queries
Our Designer Specialists can also answer questions regarding datecodes, serial numbers, authenticity cards, hangtags, carecards, dustcovers/dustbags, holograms and any other etiquette that is/was provided with designer items at different times - e.g. what they mean, whether certain items/seasons should have them, or not and if so, what they should look like/read.
We can also help you re. any queries you may have regarding the date code/serial code/holograms/etiquette of a specific item you may have purchased/be looking to purchase.

eBay/PayPal/Consumer Law Advice
If you have bought an item on eBay, or elsewhere, that has arrived and is fake, or damaged, or significantly different in size, or shape, or colour (or in any other way!), or has an undisclosed odour, or is just a completely different item entirely; our Consumer Experts can help you.
Versed in consumer law and eBay rules, they can inform you of your rights and help you gain a partial, or a full, refund.

We can also help you with general consumer law questions for website/store purchases.

Personal Shopping
Don’t have time to shop? Need to find the perfect gift? Just can’t find what you’re looking for? Looking for an older and/or rarer item? Worried about purchasing from eBay, or other websites? Don’t like calling stores?
Many of our Designer Specialists adore shopping, know all the best places to buy the best items (often at the best prices!) and have close relationships with Sales Assistants all over the world.
They are also, obviously, able to authenticate any older/rarer item they find in a non-authorised website, or store, for your peace of mind.
If they can’t find it, almost certainly, no one can!

Styling
Do you feel you really need to look good for work, or for a special occasion, or just in general; but fashion and/or style confuse you, or leave you cold?
Do you like fashion and/or style but simply don’t have enough time to find the best retailers and/or beautiful, interesting, items that both look good with each other and flatter you?
Our Stylists have a great eye and live and breathe style and fashion - they know what’s available, what looks good with what and what suits people with different body types and coloring.
Whether it’s a capsule wardrobe, a piece of jewelry/jewellery, an accessory to go with your favorite dress, or an outfit for a special event - we can help.

Consignment
Some of our Designer Specialists also enjoy selling - through their own retail websites and/or on websites such as eBay.
If you have a definitely authentic designer item you would like them to sell for you (or perhaps even buy for themselves, if they really like it!), please email consignment@fakespotters.com with full details of the item, including its brand and style, where it was originally purchased, its condition (please list, honestly, any and all flaws and/or damage and/or wear and/or odors etc.) and recent good quality, in focus photographs, for more details.
If you are at all unsure of authenticity, please contract an email Authentication before inquiring about consignment.
Please note that any items that are unauthentic/of questionable authenticity will not be accepted for consignment.
